Dear friends,

It’s very unfortunate that we are in a position to write this mail to all of you. Our dear friend Puve (Perumalpillai Puvetharan from 13 Sci L ) , is undergoing a very difficult time ever what we can imagine of. He has been suffering for more than 7 months of an illness which has caused malfunction of his liver.

We happen to know about this accidentally, since he doesn’t want any one of us to know about his illness. From the day we heard this rumor we had been trying to contact him. However we were lucky enough to meet him and were able to speak with his parents very recently.

It’s very sad to hear that his parents have been treating him till he became bed ridden without knowing the right illness, and visiting more than 25 specialists until August. He was loosing functionality of his body little by little. End of July he was bedridden and he found the wonderful doctor who directed him to the right direction.

Now, Puve is treated by Dr. Alibhoy who is the specialist in Neurology, who found that he is affected by copper level in the body. Puve is having more than ten times of copper than a normal human. Event though the Dr has also mentioned that you brought him to me late. Now parents are doing what ever puvi wants and be where ever he like to be. We were in a shock to see our 95Kg weighed friend who is barely a skeleton, and shivering and un balanced to walk, or can not hold a pen.

We as friends thought , at this moment we should help in some way that Puvi and family would be relieved of . Parents are in a need of double checking whether the medication that they are taking is the correct. Since this kind of medication is rare in Sri Lanka, they would want a second opinion on medication what they take by getting by getting to India and verify.

So we thought of as a batch mates would want all of you to help financially whatever the way you could. Therefore we opened an account at commercial bank and the details given below. We appreciate what ever the amount you could contribute towards making this cause a meaningful.
